Rusty's Backyard BBQ Rescue
Logline: Rusty Johnson a world BBQ champ travels each week to rescue a failing BBQ’er in order to give them the skills, equipment and BBQ knowledge they need to pull off a backyard bbq feast for all their family and friends by the weeks end.
Who is Rusty Johnson
A family man who was born and bred in BC, Rusty took the competitive cooking world by storm when he started competing only a few short years ago. He shot to the top, and has ranked, placed, and even won some of the Worlds most prestigious cooking competitions. Known for his BIG personality and his great sense of humor, he always a Fan favorite on local news programs where he appears regularly to teach the viewers at home how he prepares some of the worlds best food.
WORLD CHAMPION
In 2015 Rusty was awarded the coveted WORLDS BEST BURGER at the WORLD Food Championships held in Nashville, Tenn. With a $10,000 top prize and the esteemed title, it was the icing on a banner year. Here are just some of the Awards and Competitions he has won.
